For the last year, TLC and I have been helping support an incredible mama and woman in Uganda, Tinah Titus and the 40+ kids that her family choses to take in, feed, and try to provide a safer home.

Tinah is tired, y'all.

Measles, viral infections, hunger, poor living conditions, and a myriad of stressors that most of us have never even considered have ravaged her orphanage.

Tinah and her family have 4 main goals-

1) to ensure that everyone in her home gets to eat 2 small meals per day, every day (that goal alone makes my heart hurt) - $1200usd/month

2) to be able to pay bills and take her kiddos to the local clinic and get treatment when they are ill- $500-1000/month

3) to finish putting a roof on their school house so the children can be educated in a safe place- $3600 total

4) to be able to start a business with her husband, so they can no longer need donations from others and become a self sustaining household- $3500 total

I'm reaching out to all of you, my friends, because I need help in helping Tinah bringing this to fruition., If you desire to donate even $1, please let me know and I will share with you how to do so. And because in today's day and age this is necessary- no, this is not a tax deductible donation. Tinah is not set up as a non-profit (yet). This will be you giving because you can, because you can't imagine not having food in your belly for 3 straight days, sleeping under a tree because you are too lethargic to get up, and trying to keep 40+ humans alive when the world seems to be against you.
